Version 0.11 is now out for subscribers!

Version 0.11 is here!

Hello everyone and sorry for not updating here on Itch as much.
We've decided to only release the game for subscribers from now on, over at Subscribestar:
Bubbles and Sisters on SubscribeStar.adult
This is because later this year we are hoping to release the game in early access on Steam and we want the paid version to have more content than what people can get for free so that it it's worth buying.

This is what's new in version 0.11

Scenes:

  • New Emily scene, who was behind the notes?
  • New Emma scene, struggling in the reception
  • A short new guest scene (wipe the picture in the Foyer then go outside the barn at night)

Backgrounds:

  • Emily's secret hideout in the barn
  • The extra room/Vine room now has it's own background too

Other improvements:

  • Improved Sarah leaning against the bar art
  • New Beccy art (check out her new thighs!)
  • Bug fixes and dialogue fixes as usual

This is what you missed in version 0.10

Scenes:

  • Emma's adventure + animation
  • Emma at home

Older scenes:

  • New backgrounds for Sarah's sex/bj
  • New backgrounds and animation for Emily riding in your bed
  • New background for Emily glory hole 2
  • New backgrounds and phone for Delilah phone scene
  • Improved train station intro
  • Updated John Hawthorne scene

Backgrounds:

  • Nail salon
  • Bathroom

Quality of life fixes:

  • Improved Main menu UI
  • Added shadows to Jack
  • New Emma hotel sprite
  • New John Hawthorne sprite

Does this mean that there won't be any public/free version of the game until its full release?

(1 edit)

has the game stopped shutting down immediately?

When will the new update be released for free?

Noooooo, I wanted so badly to see Emma's reaction to the magic spa!

Will it be launched on Steam in China in the future? You have a lot of fans in China. We need official simplified Chinese.

I'm not sure how Chinese people go about buying things on steam, I guess through a vpn? But yes Chinese is one of the languages we want to actually pay someone to translate it to!

when will it be out for people who bought it on here

nvm

Is it 21+ on SubscriberStar for anyone else?

so I’m guessing this is the last time you’ll make a post on itch.io, since the game is “dead” to itch.io now?

(-2)

I'll keep making posts when the updates come out and what we've worked on.

Do you plan to release the finished version on itch.io for people who purchased the game ?

(+9)

I'm sick of Patreon and Subscribestar. Take Our Red String, for example. Its a nice game, but its in development for 5 years and 5 years for 5$ a month is a 300$. And the game is not even finished yet. So, I'll be waiting when the game is finished. Then I will probably buy finished game here, on Steam or probably on Subscribestar (paying for 1 month).

that's the point of those platforms, you're not paying to play the game, it will eventually be free, what you're doing is supporting the creators to continue the development of the game, it's not free to have voice actors for every character and making the game itself costs money. No one is forcing you to pay but it's obvious that those who pay have to get more benefits for helping to the development of the game, if you don't want to help even if you like the game, that's okay, but don't complain.

"it will eventually be free" - some games will be, some games wont. What I dont really like is when people come to some platform to use it only as a promo for another platform. Steam, for example, forbids external links, but people are still trying to use their steam store pages and posts to promote their patreon page. I mean, I use itch.io because I like their payment model, but some developers come here to use itch.io not as a ditribution platform, but as a patreon promotion platform, and this is what I really dont like.

I just want to understand correctly.

The only paid version you have currently is subscribestar, which is a monthly subscription service?

Do you have a roadmap for updates till full release?

Is there a one-time purchase option so I dont have a monthly charge?

I ask because if i subscribe for say... a year, at the lowest tier (that gives access to the game) of $5usd, thats $60, as much as a AAA game these days. Without knowledge of a full release, its easy to expect you to take longer than a year to finish, going off of previous time tables.

Would I retain my access to your creation, if i stopped my monthly payments?

Should i wait till you release on Steam so i can buy it once, and get updates over time?

Would the "Purchased Steam experience" be as it has been here on Itch, as in, updated occasionally without additional payments required?

Ive been following along since you all started, and really enjoy your work and content, but id hate to be (bubble)blocked by a monthly paywall i cant in good conscience pay for.

Always looking forward to your progress, be well. *thumbs up emoji*

Yes right now it's only on Subscribestar and there's a monthly charge.
We're planning on selling the game on steam in early access, hopefully in November or December this year. If you purchase early access on steam you'll get all the upcoming updates with that 1 purchace.

It's hard to say a roadmap but I'm guessing we will keep updating the bigger part of the next year until we're done with part 1.

Thank you for your reply! I understand better now.

I'll be waiting excitedly for you on Steam!

I keep coming back to your creations, something about the art style I vibe with.

Keep big chilling friendos. *thumbs-up emoji*

will the game stop closing out when started now?

I don't understand, will you guys no longer post free versions on itchio, or will the itchio version contain less content?

(-12)

We will no longer update the itch version so that we can have more content once we sell the game.

pls dont the only way i can play this game rn so ur saying that u will stop updating the itch.io verison?
